WINGS disseminates learnings from PLEs and regional meetings via concrete products that can serve as resource material for participants as well as WINGS members who are not able to attend in person. These toolkits are works in progress, and we endeavor to document experiences and lessons learned from the daily challenges and achievements of our global membership.

View | Transparency and Accountability in Philanthropy and Private Social Investment

The new WINGS toolkit, Transparency and Accountability in Philanthropy and Private Social Investment, is a result of regional consultations on transparency and accountability for philanthropy held during 2012 and 2013 — regional workshops held in Cairo, Johannesburg, and Bogota that brought together more than 100 WINGS members and partners. It is a living document. WINGS will endeavor to continue documenting experiences, tools, and best practices as members advance their practice and understanding of transparency and accountability for philanthropy.

View | Engaging Corporations

Highlights from several WINGS PLEs are documented in this toolkit, which offers guidelines for engaging corporations. The Engaging Corporations toolkit is designed to serve as basic resource material for grantmaker associations and support organisations whose goal is to pursue corporate partnership. It adopts the perspective of the participants who generously shared their time and thoughts during the PLEs. The application of the guidelines should be considered in light of particular country contexts. As WINGS’ participants deepen their engagement with corporations, the primer will be enriched with more tools and helpful tips.

View | Organizational Sustainability

This toolkit is designed to provide practical tips on organizational sustainability based on WINGS PLEs, participant stories and the latest literature on the topic. The Organizational Sustainability toolkit presents an experiential and conceptual overview of sustainability, giving readers the knowledge they need to conduct assessments of their won organizations through a checklist and a guided work plan.

View | CF Benchmarking

This toolkit compiles information about the variety of approaches to developing tools and processes for improving performance for community foundations. There are principles, value statements and standards of best practice (‘soft’ approaches) and there are codes and benchmarks (‘hard’ approaches that denote regulation and bureaucracy). The CF Benchmarking toolkit is useful to WINGS members as they consider the range of options available to them.
