We facilitate partnerships within our network and encourage our members to take up shared issues, so they can help advance the culture of giving through policy and practice. And because true global philanthropy leadership is credible and informed, we give our members the tools they need to identify the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the sector.
We convene regional meetings where leaders connect and create valuable social capital to fuel the growth of philanthropy worldwide.
The Global Philanthropy Leadership Initiative (GPLI) is a joint initiative of EFC, Council on Foundations and WINGS. GPLI is co-chaired by Fundação Calouste Bulbenkian and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, with a task force comprised of 30+ philanthropic leaders, and its purpose is to develop new ways of advancing the practice and impact of philanthropy at the global level.

That being said, building a culture and practice of accountability has its obstacles.
