In November the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) published the fifth edition of the World Giving Index; the only global study of generosity. The report benefits from Gallup World Poll data that details the proportion of people giving money, volunteering and helping strangers in 135 countries.

Join CAF’s Head of Research, Deborah Fairclough and International Policy Manager Adam Pickering for an in depth look at global trends in giving and to gain unique insights into why some nations give more than others. Viewers will enjoy in depth analysis of the data set against a suite of demographic and economic indicators and learn new information such as why Myanmar has the highest proportion of donors of any country and why Turkmenistan sees such high rates of volunteering.

The webinar will also look at some of the work which has flowed from the World Giving Index in an attempt to understand what drives generosity in societies such as the Rules to Give By Index, which looks at the legal environment for giving in all 193 UN nations.
